Materials and Process Manager
T2 Biosystems, Inc. is an exciting early stage company whose mission is to revolutionize diagnostic medicine by providing immediate, accurate testing for nearly any health condition, in nearly any setting. We are seeking a talented and highly motivated individual to be part of our Diagnostics Research and Development team as the Materials and Process Manager. The successful candidate will play a key role in our cutting-edge assay development groups.
The successful candidate will have:
• 5 years of experience in the medical in vitro diagnostics assay industry
• experience in diagnostics reagents development and manufacturing (e.g. antibodies, probes, diluents, particles, critical reagents, etc) under FDA quality system requirements
• experience with reagents stability, process control and engineering, and reproducibility
• experience in a supervisory or leadership capacity
• experience with particle based assays strongly desired
Responsibilities will include:
• Managing our internal and external reagent production processes
• Overseeing sourcing, syntheses, characterization, and transfer to manufacturing of all critical reagents.
• Working closely with our assay development teams in reagent selection, design, and optimization.
• Supervising process control and quality control measures for reagent production and supply
• Implementing reagent stability studies and critical parameter analyses
• Participating in hands-on chemistry and bench work
