Research Associate - Assay Development
T2 Biosystems, an early stage diagnostics company, currently has an opening for an entry level research associate. This is a unique opportunity for a highly motivated individual to work with a team of scientists and engineers to create a revolutionary approach to diagnosing important diseases more effectively and efficiently.
Overview of Responsibilities:
- Performs research and/or development in collaboration with others
- Makes detailed observations, analyzes data and interprets results
- Investigates, creates, and develops new methods and technologies for project advancement
- Maintains high level of professional expertise through familiarity with scientific literature
Job Requirements:
- BS in biology or biochemistry with 0 to 2 years experience performing immunoassays
- Creative problem solver, fast learner, and effective communicator.
- Self-starter with the ability to work in a fast paced dynamic environment independently and with minimal supervision
- Desire to learn and excel
